Job Description:
- Understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the projects.
- Ensure that business requirements match the technical implementation.
- Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Ensure a good user experience for all projects.
- Work with Software Engineers to define the quality criteria, functionality, and product release candidates of each project.
- Track the software defects and report to the development team.
- Test execution on various levels (System Test, Regression Test, Smoke Test)
- Work with Software Engineers to develop different test plans, test cases and automate test cases
- Review and improve software documentation and user guides.
- Prepare and present Test reports and metrics.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Job Specification
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, different types of testing, and QA best practices.
- Experiences in Quality Management Software and Processes
- Experience in functional and automated testing
- Experience in writing test scenarios and test cases
- Experience in API testing
- Working in an Agile team
- Knowledge of programming principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Selenium or similar test automation tools
- Postman, Swagger, or similar testing tools
- JMeter or similar testing tools
- Knowledge of docker
- Penetration testing, Stress testing
Education + Experience:
- Prior 4+ years of work experience as a QA Engineer
