Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create efficient and scalable automation frameworks that will enhance the quality assurance process, reduce manual testing efforts, and increase overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Perform automated testing across various platforms and environments (e.g., web, mobile, API).
  • Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and early detection of issues.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Continuously improve automation scripts and frameworks to optimize test coverage and performance.
  • Document and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Contribute to the development of testing best practices, standards, and guidelines.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing features continue to function correctly after new changes are implemented.
  • Stay updated with new tools, technologies, and industry trends in test automation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role in software testing.
  • Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and integration.
  • Experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for test automation integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Education + Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4-6 Years of experience in the related field.
