Job Description:
We are looking for a Support Engineer with a techno/functional medium role, working with multiple service providers & stakeholders focusing more on providing support in solving technical and functional related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate daily with a team of Software Developers, Architect, and other stakeholders to support applications.
- Interact directly with business customers to gather and understand requirements and how they translate in application features.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code as required.
- Documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working experience in any RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, MS-SQL or Postgres.
- Strong communication skills.
- Confident, keen to learn about new technologies.
- Self-motivated, eye to detail on tasks.
- Good team-player.
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in SDLC (software development lifecycle), Object Oriented or Functional Programming language (ex. JavaScript, Java, C#, Python etc.).
