Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements
Senior Software Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver features in an end-to-end manner: technical design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Design and develop high performance software libraries and APIs
- Work closely with Product Managers to translate product requirements to engineering specifications.
- Ensure excellent code quality through code reviews, periodic audits, and implementation of best practices on related projects.
- Lead code review efforts and quality efforts in your area of ownership.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Keep up to date with latest technologies and introduce them as needed
- Analyze, debug and fix defects
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS or similar cloud environment
- Ability to build RESTful services in Python Flask or Django
- Experience working with Pandas, Numpy and Regular Expressions in Python
- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
- Experience with SQL databases like SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL and NOSQL databases such as MongoDB/DynamoDB etc.
Education + Experience:
- At least 4 years of industry experience with at least 2 year of development experience in Python
