Job Description:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and project managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Providing training to other engineers.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing software.
- Recommending new technologies that can help increase productivity.
- Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of projects.
- Undertake ongoing research to stay up-to-date with development innovations, trends, and technologies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Preferred proficiency in at least one Object Oriented language such as Python
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases ● Good communication and collaboration with the team.
- Willing to take challenges as opportunities.
- A team player and enjoys working in a team.
- Experience with various testing and automation tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Jmeter, etc.
- Experience with API testing and related tools like Postman are highly preferred.
Education + Experience:
- Minimum 4 years experience as a QA. Preferred having experience of leading a team.
