Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements in collaboration with the project manager or the CTO.
- Estimate the time to complete each task or user story after assessing the technical requirement and also ensure that the estimates are accurate as much as possible.
- Be focused on using relatable best practices and latest technology and trends while developing application architecture keeping in mind the quality of code, it’s scalability and security.
- Focus on using reusable components or open source components to optimize and save time.
- Should lead a team in a project or a project depending on the situation. Also, should make sure that the juniors and mid level developers are given proper direction and guidance.
- Focus on developing team communication and motivation through continuous feedback to mid/junior level developers.
- Continuously research new tools and technologies and make necessary changes or suggestions after weighing all alternatives. Focus on sharing existing or researched knowledge about tools and technologies with the team ensuring the growth of the team.
- Continuously improve efficiency using new technologies and automations.
- Report to the Project Manager/Team Leader/CTO regarding the progress, impediments of assigned projects/tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with good decision making ability
- Good written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with client communication
Education + Experience:
Skills & Requirements:
- Solid experience as a Python Developer. ( At least 4+ years of experience of working with Python)
- Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Bottle)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API
- Understanding of databases and SQL
- Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Leadership skills
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
