Job Description:
- Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available in AWS
- Good hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools like – Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraforming etc.
- Experience working at least one of the following languages: PHP, Python, Java.
- Proficient in Git and Git workflows
- Experience in developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD)
- Hands-on experience with micro services and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or server less technology.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
- Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
- Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
- Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimizatio
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
- Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS
- Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate.
- Strong bias for action and ownership
Education + Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, Code Deploy, Cloud Front, S3)
