Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for QA Engineer to work on awesome technical products that we build at NAXA. If you love Software testing and Quality Assurance, and want to explore the mapping world as well, you’re welcome to apply.
Education Level: Bachelors in Computer Science or relevant field
Experience Required: At least 2 years
Job Description:

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it.
-
Creating detailed, comprehensive and well- structured test plans and test cases.
-
Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
-
Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
-
Execute and oversee inspection and testing of products to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
-
Create quality measurements to track improvement in products.
-
Execute quality improvement testing and activities.
-
Develop quality assurance standards and company processes.
-
Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand.
-
Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing.
-
Create final test document after completion and before handover of project.
-
Work closely with the development team to improve existing products.

Apply technical skills related to the product being tested (knowledge of programming languages to software QA, knowledge of machinery for hardware, etc.).

Document every activity involved in the Quality Assurance process according to company standards.

Perform functional testing, unit testing, stress testing etc. as per the requirements of the project.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice.

Working knowledge of products and services.

Excellent communication skills.

Sharp attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

Good team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language will be a plus point.
Education + Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

2+ years of experience in the field of Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
