Job Description:
A quality analyst is highly specialized position so the person has to fulfill a number of duties and responsibilities. They are as following:
- Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
- Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
- Lead, manage and mentor QA team members
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (automated).
- Demonstrated and clear ability to find and classify bugs in complex IT systems
- Ability to build automated web test cases
- Experience in automated testing and creating tickets
- Creation of new, failing, test cases related to future functionality
- Continual research of new test cases to assure the quality of the existing system through manual experimentation and testing leading to bugs (and automatic reproduction in regression tests)
- Test software products following standard testing practices, tools and techniques
- Work with a cross-functional team to analyze, identify risks, enhance, and negotiate product requirements that meet or exceed our customer need.
- Research on new technology and techniques for continuous improvement of the product quality
- Experience in security testing, load testing, API testing and automation testing (in Web and Mobile application).
- Ensure quality of product and product documentation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Hands on skills with Automated Testing and tools
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with standard testing practices, tools and techniques
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates having some past working Experience in any quality assurance related activities will be given priority
- Candidate should be a good learner he or she should have the willingness to acquire knowledge on new technologies to solve quality problems
- He or she should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- The candidate should have the ability to work independently, self-directed and solutions-oriented and should be able to carry him or herself
- He or she should possess the sound organizational and planning skills with a solid an attention to detail
- He or she should have effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- 3 years or above of software QA experience
