Job Description:
- Collaborate with team member to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Understand the business logic of existing projects and flow the same in team members
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Develop document and maintain Manual/Automated test scripts, test cases, test data, defect tracking and reports
- Perform thorough Regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools and process
- Assist project leaders in solving QA issues
- Involved in mentoring and guiding the QA team
- Work in Scrum/Kanban team environment to size and plan the requirements
- Test software products following standard testing practices, tools and techniques
- Work with a cross-functional team to analyze, identify risks, enhance, and negotiate product requirements that meet or exceed our customer needs
- Participate actively in retrospective meetings for continuous improvement of the team
- Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Research on new technology and techniques for continuous improvement of the product quality
- Mentor new members for easy on-boarding to the team
- Experience in security testing, load testing, API testing and automation testing (in Web and Mobile application)
- Knowledge of automation and CI/CD (continuous integration & continuous delivery) fall in the category of basic skills only. So that means knowledge of range of tools such as QTP, Selenium, Jenkins etc
- Ensure quality of product and product documentation
- Knowledge of Version control systems like Git and SVN
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in Security testing,Load and performance testing along with Report generation
- Good knowledge and skills of Web vulnerabilities and security
- Good knowledge and skills of Project management and Bug tracking tools like Jira, Confluence
- Good knowledge of OWASP would be of plus
- 3+ years of experience in Senior QA Engineer
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Mid- level QA Engineer
- At least Bachelor degree (preferably Master Degree) in Computer Science or relevant discipline
Education + Experience:
- Should havwe Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Automation test framework
- Experience with Agile Development Process
