Job Description:
As a QA Engineer, you will lead and oversee the QA process, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards before deployment. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Leadership:
- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies for software applications.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
Testing & Validation:
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Validate user requirements and ensure they are implemented correctly.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Actively participate in project planning and sprint reviews.
Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Document test results and ensure they meet project requirements.
Quality Improvement:
- Suggest process improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and tools.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, JIRA, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- API testing and validation using tools like Postman or SoapUI. -Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for integrating automated tests.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
