Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
- Use different tools and techniques to execute test cases and create manual and/or Automation Script for performing testing/validation function.
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, create and execute testing activities.
- Develop quality assurance standards and company processes.
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests and record it.
- Document results of tests for the software development team.
- Recommend improvements in product/software to enhance user experience.
- Help troubleshoot the issues.
- Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance.
- Research and compare similar competitor products.
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have experience of working with automated testing tools Selenium and QTP or TestComplete.
- Experience in leading & industry standard performance testing (LoadRunner/JMeter/Gatling/Neoload/BlazeMeter etc.) and APM (AppDynamics, NewRelic etc.) tools.
- Experience in REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Microservices testing and automation using tools like SOAPUI, Postman, Rest-Assured etc.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Solid knowledge of Security testing, SQL injection and scripting.
- Experience of different development & testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, ATDD, TDD and BDD).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. Sharp attention to details.
- Adaptable and clear communications.
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or relevant academic discipline.
- Prior experience as a QA for software products for minimum of 2-5 years.
