Job Description:

The QA Automation Engineeposition at KUDO is an outstanding opportunity to join a vibrant, disruptive technology company that is helping Fortune 100 businesses and governments around the world host multilingual online meetings and live events powered by remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI). The successful candidate will develop and maintain automation test cases and conduct performance and security tests, and report to the QA automation Lead and QA & Delivery Manager.

Location: Remote (US), New York

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test cases and integrate with continuous integration tools
  • Conduct performance and security test
  • Manage CI/CD tools e g. Jenkins
  • Ability to work on multiple projects/product simultaneously
  • Collaborate with developers to design test case and processes
  • Experience in JIRA/bug management tools/development environments/ containers
  • Perform and provide guidance/mentoring on API testing using SOAP UI or similar toolset
  • Write complex SQL statements for backend testing of databases
  • Design, develop and execute automated unit tests, integration tests, and user-acceptance tests, both as black-box and white-box test cases
  • Mentor team members on automation
  • Collaborate with QA engineers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong web testing and automation skills, in-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver
  • Strong skills with one or more modern test frameworks such as Robot, Capybara, Cucumber
  • Experience in one or more Object-Oriented programming languages, such as Python or Ruby
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to source control, build and release processes, and continuous deployment
  • Experience in test suite development and maintenance
  • Preferred experience with performance testing (e g. LoadStorm or Jmeter or LoadRunner)
  • Preferred experience with security and penetration Testing

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Being a team player with excellent manners and personality
  • Comfortable working remotely and using video conferencing

Education + Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of QA Automation Engineering experience
