Job Description:

As an IT Security and Support Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of our IT department. This role involves a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong customer service orientation. You will ensure the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, providing vital support for hardware, software, and network issues, while also contributing to our IT security initiatives.


  • First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial contact for all IT support inquiries, ensuring a responsive and customer-focused experience.
  • Comprehensive IT Support: Provide thorough support for all IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems. Escalate complex issues as necessary.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with the latest standards and security protocols.
  • Security Implementation: Assist in the deployment and updating of IT security measures, playing a key role in safeguarding our digital assets.
  • Account Management: Efficiently manage user accounts and access controls, ensuring secure and authorized access to systems and data.
  • IT Asset Management: Oversee the inventory of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance of hardware and software resources.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Base: Document problem resolutions and contribute to the development and maintenance of an updated IT knowledge base, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience with various Identity and Access Management (IAM) Tools such as Okta
  • Hands-on experience with Endpoint Security Software like CrowdStrike
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management tools like JumpCloud, JAMF, Intune
  • Proficient in managing both Windows and Mac environments.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and various software applications.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability tools and protocols (SPF, DKIM).
  • Familiarity with IT security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on customer service.

Education + Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical problem-solving and user assistance.
