Job Description:
- Edit raw footage and audio recordings to create engaging promotional videos for
- Takeo's coding bootcamps
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the objectives and messaging for each video project
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of the videos
- Experiment with different editing techniques and creative approaches to produce unique and attention-grabbing videos
- Work closely with the marketing team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality videos on time
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices
- Creative mindset with the ability to tell a compelling story through video
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the marketing team
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects, with a focus on promotional and marketing videos
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with creating videos for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Experience in motion graphics, visual effects, and animation
- Knowledge of colour grading and correction techniques
- Understanding of different video formats and aspect ratios for various platforms
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies
Education + Experience:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role
