Job Description:
Be part of an exciting team that is helping leaders understand and measure performance and strategic objectives! This role is part of the Platform Team that works closely with multiple business units to understand their objectives by building meaningful and impactful data solutions to help provide key insights. This role will work closely with the other team members to innovate, build, and improve methods to meet current and future requirements and data demands. We are looking for someone who has a record of building creative, accurate, and reliable data architectures that meet the specific needs of business leaders.
What you’ll do
You will be instrumental in creating and designing data pipelines and architecture as well as investigating and learning new technologies that will help meet future analytical needs.
- Integrate and improve tools, frameworks, and services to provide requested capabilities
- Operating and maintaining pipelines
- Continued Data Architecture improvements
- Measure and analyze costs, performance, and reliability of pipelines an usage
What you need to succeed
- Specialties in Python or Node development for data pipelines and automation, including debugging, testing, and handling development and production code bases
- BonusBuilding and maintaining an enterprise data lake
- Experience partitioning data for optimal performance
- Distributed systems (pipelines and databases)
- Extensive SQL experience and strong background in optimizing SQL queries for transforming data
- Experience working in a microservices and serverless architecture
- Hands-on experience with containers and CI/CD systems and practices
- Proficiency with AWS (S3, EC2, EKS, …)
- Tools like Snowflake, Neptune and Aurora
- Experience with Azure
- Writing python connectors to 3rd party data APIs
- Experience automating machine learning data pipelines and models
- AWS Firehose, Apache Ka a, Apache Spark
Education + Experience:
- Should have a Bachelors degree in a related field
