Job Description:
The Role
We is looking for an experienced data scientist to develop ML models and solutions to provide our users AI solutions that use our wealth of data to solve real world use case problems. The data will be used to automate administration configuration functions, correlate alarm data into meaningful incidents and generally decrease the amount of human effort it takes to administrator our platform all while providing deeper insight into the actionable areas the data suggests.
The candidate will work closely with Product Management resources to help bring new products and features to users. You are comfortable working with ambiguous ideas, and able to break them down into actionable plans, prototypes and architectures.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic Requirements
- Experience Python ML Modeling
- Experience with complex and multi dimensional (nested) data structures
- Experience with statistics and machine learning process: regression, clustering, decision tree, modeling, simulation, loss analysis, etc.
- Experience with a variety of data stores and engines
- Experience working with remote geographically distributed teams
- Experience with AWS Cloud development
- Experience with Linux development environment
- Experience working with remote geographically distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Nice to have experience with enterprise IT environments:
○ Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
○ Network Infrastructure and Management
○ Servers, storage and virtualization
○ Netflow/IPFix
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices
- Nice to have R language experience
- Nice to have experience with machine learning libraries and distributed data computing tools: Numpy, PyTorch, Pandas, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.
Education + Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelor's in Computer Science
