Job Description:
TechAxis is seeking a passionate and experienced Oracle Database Instructor to join our growing team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training programs on Oracle database technologies to a diverse range of learners.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led training courses on Oracle database administration, development, and related technologies.
- Tailor course content to meet the specific needs and experience levels of various audiences.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods including lectures, hands-on labs, and case studies to promote active learning.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Develop and maintain high-quality course materials, including presentations, lab exercises, and handouts.
- Evaluate student learning through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Oracle database technologies and incorporate them into course curriculum.
- Collaborate with the instructional team to ensure consistency and quality across all Oracle database training programs.
- May be required to develop and deliver online or blended learning courses.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Experience with adult learning methodologies a plus.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) a plus.
- Proven ability to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Oracle database technologies.
- Oracle Database Administration (OCP) or development (OCP) certification a strong plus.
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4+ years of experience working with Oracle databases in a professional setting.
