Job Description:
We are looking for a Database Engineer responsible for the development, maintenance and usage of our PostgreSQL-based database and our no-SQL MongoDB database. Your primary focus will be the setup and continuous development of a PostgreSQL cluster (CitusDB) deployed on AWS and training team members in its usage.
You will be working alongside other experienced engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the backend team to improve and extend the PostgreSQL-based database:

Ensuring the performance, quality and fitness of our database

Collaborating with the team to define, design, and ship new features

Identifying and correcting performance bottlenecks and fixing bugs
-
Helping to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Provide training to team members using the database
