Job Description:

The Content Writer will be a key player in crafting compelling narratives across all content formats, including presentations, website copy, articles, and more. As part of a fast-paced startup, this role requires someone with a versatile writing style, excellent research skills, and the ability to adapt to various audiences. An understanding of financial markets, crypto, and digital assets is a strong plus. Success will be measured by the ability to produce high-quality, impactful content that aligns with Yirifi’s mission and drives engagement with stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Content Creation

  • Write and edit a wide range of content, including articles, blog posts, whitepapers, presentations, and web copy.
  • Tailor messaging to target audiences, including clients, investors, and the broader crypto community.

Brand Voice and Messaging

  • Maintain a consistent tone and voice across all content that reflects Yirifi’s brand identity.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine and evolve key messaging.

Market and Industry Research

  • Stay updated on developments in financial markets, crypto, and digital assets to create timely, relevant content.
  • Conduct research to support data-driven storytelling and thought leadership pieces.

Content for Marketing and Outreach

  • Develop engaging copy for marketing campaigns, newsletters, and social media posts.
  • Create pitch decks and investor presentations with clear, concise messaging.

Website and SEO Optimization

  • Write and update website content to enhance user experience and drive traffic.
  • Apply basic SEO principles to improve content visibility and search rankings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with design and marketing teams to develop visually engaging content.
  • Partner with product and compliance teams to translate complex concepts into user-friendly materials.

Ad Hoc Projects

  • Support the team with additional content needs, such as product documentation, FAQs, and case studies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Content Volume and Quality: Deliver the agreed high-quality articles or equivalent content pieces per month.
  • Engagement Metrics: Achieve increased engagement across digital platforms (e.g., website traffic, social shares).
  • Timeliness: Ensure all content is delivered on or before deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Maintain positive feedback from internal teams and external audiences.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Writing and Editing:

  • Exceptional command of the English language and attention to detail.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Understanding of financial markets, crypto, and digital assets is highly desirable.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

Digital Tools and Platforms:
