Job Description:
The Business Development and Partnership Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic
partnerships, and expanding Yirifi’s client base. This remote role demands a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities, establish meaningful relationships with clients and partners, and negotiate impactful deals. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to onboard new clients, form partnerships, and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
Business Development
- Identify and engage potential clients, including financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprises in the digital asset ecosystem.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate leads, nurture prospects, and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track progress and performance.
Partnership Management
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the crypto, compliance, and financial sectors.
- Collaborate with partners to create joint go-to-market strategies, co-branded initiatives, and referral programs.
- Negotiate partnership agreements that align with Yirifi’s goals and deliver mutual value.
Market Research and Insights
- Stay updated on trends and developments in the crypto, fintech, and compliance industries to identify new opportunities.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams on client and market needs to shape product development and positioning.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to align business development efforts with company objectives.
- Regularly report on progress, pipeline health, and key metrics to the leadership team.
Brand Building
- Represent Yirifi at webinars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by co-creating content such as blogs, whitepapers, and case studies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- New Client Acquisition: Achieve quarterly targets for onboarding new clients.
- Partnerships: Establish and maintain a defined number of strategic partnerships annually.
- Revenue Growth: Contribute to achieving revenue goals by closing new deals and partnerships.
- Pipeline Development: Maintain a robust and active sales pipeline with high conversion rates.
- Client Satisfaction: Achieve high client retention and satisfaction scores post-onboarding.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Business Development Expertise:
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Partnership Management:
- Experience in identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships to drive mutual growth.
Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of digital assets, crypto regulations, and the financial services industry is highly desirable.
Sales Tools:
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage leads, pipelines, and reporting.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster trust and collaboration with clients and partners.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability and collaboration.
Education + Experience:
- 3+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in fintech, crypto, or compliance industries.
