We are seeking an AI Lead to play a pivotal role in developing and productionizing AI capabilities. This role involves leading the efforts to build the smartest AI advisor in the industry, enhancing our platform’s ability to connect customers, agencies, and insurers more efficiently. It includes the responsibility of productionizing AI and machine learning models to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in real-world applications. Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop, productionize, and maintain advanced AI and machine learning models for NLP, as well as traditional AI systems such as rule-based decision trees, to improve customer interaction channels (call, text). 
• Create and deploy predictive models for identifying churn risks and cross-selling opportunities, ensuring these models are scalable and reliable in a production environment. 
• Employ a balanced approach to AI solution development, combining state-of-the-art AI technologies with proven traditional methodologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability. 
• Implement and maintain AI agents for automated interactions and efficient policy management 
• Work with diverse data sets, both structured and unstructured, including policy data and communication transcripts. 
• Apply and integrate state-of-the-art AI technologies, optimizing the use of industry-leading models and applications, with a strong emphasis on production readiness and operational excellence. 
• Build and lead a team of AI professionals, fostering an environment of innovation, continuous learning, and best practices in deploying AI solutions. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of AI strategies with business objectives, with a clear focus on delivering production-grade AI solutions. 
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI solution development, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring robustness and scalability of AI capabilities in production environments.

• Advanced (M.Sc. or above) degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. 
• Extensive experience in AI and machine learning, with a focus on NLP, including a proven track record of productionizing at least one large-scale system, preferably in the NLP domain. 
• Proficient in supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, with a deep understanding of the challenges and solutions for deploying these models in production 
• Familiarity with GPT models and other modern AI frameworks, with hands-on experience in adapting and deploying these models for real-world applications. 
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to deliver impactful and straightforward solutions that are production-ready. 
• Leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams, with a specific focus on delivering production-grade AI solutions. 
• Demonstrated ability to balance innovation with practicality, applying the most appropriate technology—whether cutting-edge or traditional—to solve business problems effectively.

• 5 years of hands-on experience in AI and machine learning, specifically in natural language processing (NLP).
• proficient in using state-of-the-art AI models such as GPT-3 or similar technologies for business applications.
• successfully led a data science or AI team for a minimum of 2 years, specifically in a startup or tech-focused environment.
