Job Description:
- Partner with subject matter experts to understand application and documentation requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Plan, develop, organize, write and edit software procedures and manuals
- Research, develop and document technical design specifications
- Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
- Create extensive mockups, designs, workflows, DFD to document non-technical requirements to technical requirements.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
- Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
Education + Experience:
- BS/BA degree required in English, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, or other related degrees.
- Preferred-3 years of relevant experiences, such as technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing including experience with writing technical customer-facing materials.
- Hands-on experience documenting software space
- Ability to break down and clearly articulate complex software architectures and data flows
- Sound Knowledge of Software technologies and terminologies
- Understand and be able to document complex apps, including desktop, mobile and web apps.
- Be familiar with documenting app interaction workflow and UI.
- Have aptitude with both API-level user documentation and higher-level technical guides and feature briefs.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical AND creative thinker
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to research, interpret, analyze and write by interpreting technical source information
- Experience with document version control, formatting, and compilation
- Ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of financial systems and solutions is added advantage
