Job Description:
- Responsible for the set up & configuration of all desktop & laptop computers during new employee onboarding.
- Responsible for the configuration, and administration of end-user computing resources, corporate cloud systems and information backup.
- Troubleshoot local hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Lead desktop support efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Work alongside project teams to support on-going IT related work
- Manage and monitor all systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Make technology recommendations for hardware and software needs at both the enterprise and user levels
- Weekly hours will vary depending on business needs. Provide after hours on-call support as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technical Skills:
- Previous working experience in Windows and Linux environment
- Knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian,Windows Server etc.
- Experience with MSSQL MySQL and/or MariaDB.
- Familiarity with virtualization platform like VMware and KVM.
- Knowledge of enterprise backup and replication tool.
- Knowledge of SAN and NAS storage.

Education + Experience:
- Bachelors in BSCCSIT, BIM, BCA
