Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Design and build advanced hybrid/native applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development
- Knowledge of the most popular libraries google Play Services, Retrofit, EventBus, rxJava, rxAndroid, OkHttp, Dagger will be an added advantage.
- Proven Working Experience in Android app development
- Experience with Android SDK
- Database and AWS Knowledge
- Experience working with Remote Data via REST and JSON
- Experience with Third party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Able to multitask and focus on deadlines under pressure
- Team player
- Passionate about new technology
- Excellent team-working skills, hardworking, creative and innovative
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
