Job Description:
- Work with 3rd party data sources, libraries, and APIs.
- Build rich customer-facing mobile applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Translate designs into pixel perfect layouts and build advanced applications for Android platform. (Phones and Tablets).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, object-oriented programming, and concurrent programming.
- Extensive experience detecting and correcting memory usage issues, as well as optimizing code for application performance.
- Competent programmer in Android, Java, Kotlin.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Knowledge of the Gradle build system.
- Self-motivated, with a positive, can-do attitude.
Education + Experience:
- 1 year of proven professional experience in Android development as a senior developer
- Proven knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
