Job Description:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable database schemas.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
- Create and maintain database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks through indexing, query optimization, and other tuning techniques.
- Plan and execute data migration projects, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during the process.
- Implement and enforce database security measures, including user authentication and authorization.
- Set up and maintain database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability and disaster recovery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database schemas, queries, and configurations.
- Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and system administrators to integrate databases with applications and ensure seamless data flow.
- Participate in database testing activities to ensure functionality and data accuracy.
- Develop SQL queries and scripts to generate reports and provide data analysis support to business users.
- Implement database monitoring tools and respond to alerts to maintain optimal performance.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.
- Require knowledge of specific database platforms, such as Microsoft SQL Server,
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
- Experience with reporting Services.
- Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases.
- Familiarity with database security and backup procedures.

Education + Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
