Job Description:
- Depth understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and build new ideas towards improvement of customer experience and product growth
- Analyze non-technical requirement and craft into technical products
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Define why, when, and what of the product that the engineering team builds by leading cross-functional teams from a product's conception all the way through to its launch.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Plan what their teams will deliver and timeline for implementation
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering team
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Marketing required (MBA preferred)
- Strong motivational skills, especially when it comes to leading a team
Education + Experience:
- At least three-year work experience as software product manager or as an associate product manager
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
