Job Description:
- Build large scale crawlers that have the ability to crawl through millions of pages
- Manage and refine existing crawlers using PHP and other means such as scrapy, selenium, phantonjs et cetera
- Contribute to the development of the in-house crawling framework
- Work as a part of the team to in planning, designing and the development of the product, improvements, and the new features
- Be a part of something big and push the cutting edge tools even further
- Communicate with the client through e-mail to understand requirements and discuss possible solutions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of HTTP, GET, POST, HTTP Headers
- Experienced with the integration of third-party APIs and web services
- Proficient regular expressions, XPath and CSS selectors
- Strong command in character encodings, database (SQL & NoSQL), jQuery and other javascript frameworks is a plus
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborator who shares knowledge with the peers
- Three years of experience in PHP

Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent preferred, but we value expertise over a degree.
