Job Description:
A.B.G.S. Group Pvt. Ltd. is a Kathmandu based business that specializes in speech transcription; raw audio data collection; create, validate and label NLP training data; captioning and tagging; and relevance, validation, and judgments.
We are currently looking for a Software Developer to help with the development of our current projects. Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance or upgrade interfaces.
- Build, maintain, and evolve REST APIs, core libraries, and services
- Directing system testing and validation procedures.
- Directing software programming and documentation development.
- Code, test and operate Node.js based services.
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in Node.js, Knowledge of Git
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in React JS, experience in any kind of UI components
- Willing to train and mentor junior developers
- Good verbal and comprehension skills
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar relevant field
- 1 year of prior experience in software development preferred (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
