Job Description:
- Dealing with change orders, delays, variation orders, price adjustment, bonus, Lab tests etc
- Submission of every interim payment certificates for payment
- Receiving instructions from the client/ consultant/ engineer and taking action on time
- Immediate information to the Project Manager of Head office for any obstruction to the progress of the work
- Planning and allocating right people to the right place
- Conducting weekly site meeting
- Submit monthly work progress report within seven days of next month to Project Manager in the head office
- Ensure implementation of construction activity in line with the design and budget formulated by the organization
- Provide timely and accurate information to account department and site managers/supervisors
- Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site and ensure that all materials used and works performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
- Plan the work and efficiently organize the site in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Undertaking of necessary surveys
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
- Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency and implementation to those improvements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
- Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
- Knowledge of relevant earthquake and disaster-resistant structures
- The proven track record for managing personnel and material resources
- Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Active listening and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed team management and leadership skill
- Willingness to work more than official hours during the needs
Education + Experience:
- Must have a Bachelor degree in civil engineering with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field
