Job Description:
Our Senior Software Engineers operate as experienced members of our Engineering team, responsible for collaborating with peers to build excellent software on the Taper platform including but not limited to:
- Bringing a product-building mindset to the process of creating software & having empathy for our users
- Software engineering via hands-on development, design, and collaboration with peers.
- Deliver product features in an iterative way.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional product team & the founders of Taper.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
You have at least 5 years of overall development experience with good coverage across the following technologies:
- Proficiency in ReactJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, TypeORM, and Redis.
- Experience with hosting platforms such as Railway, Heroku, or GCP.
- You have a strong product engineering mindset.
- You want to understand what our technology is trying to achieve and help provide input into how we make it happen.
- You’re keen to learn & understand the world of made-to-measure
- You enjoy collaborating well with other technology peers to build great technology products.
- You are a fast learner who can pick up new things quickly as a self-starter.
- You can communicate effectively with our team and founders.
- You are able to engineer across the full stack; we’re a small team who needs to be diverse in skills.
Education + Experience:
- 4-6 years of overall development experience with good coverage across the following technologies.
