Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data modeling, application development, technical product assistance and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements.
- Code, debug, and test software components and products independently in a high-availability, high-performance environment.
- Contribute to knowledge capital via project documentation and best practice solutions.
- Understand the business needs of the client to deliver the optimal solution to enhance their business.
- Maintain and grow knowledge of Retail Industry Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence functionality and technical skills.
- Research and explore new Oracle models and products to fulfill business requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to carry on a business conversation at all levels.
- Previous experience with working on concurrent projects and tasks.
- Experience interacting with senior management in reporting project status.
- Experience in writing SQL queries in any relational database.
- Ability to think creatively and come up with an innovative solution.
- Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts and best practices.
- Interested to analyzing & managing complex data.
- Ability to transform application data into meaningful decision-making information.
- Keen to learn different BI tools to develop dashboards and reports and ETL process.
- Knowledge in language like shell scripting, python would be an advantage.
- Looking forward to excel career in Data warehouse design and implementation.
Education + Experience:
- Education level: Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Must have 3+ years’ working experience; along with, strong interest in Business Intelligence.
