Job Description:
The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be part of a cross-functional team focused on bringing our vision to fruition. We are looking for an experienced and highly collaborative automation engineer that believes in the strength of QA automation and its ability to create robust requirements, increase collaboration and alignment, and ultimately provide a superb customer experience.
- Write and maintain integration and end-to-end tests for a suite of services
- Choose the appropriate testing strategy for a given service
- Advocate for, establish and maintain test coverage standards inside of and across teams
- Participate as a member of an agile scrum team, attending ceremonies, participating in requirements gathering, etc
- Work closely with the Product Owner and Development team to vet requirements and business logic
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience vetting and choosing between various testing frameworks
- Experience in both front-end/integration and API testing
- Experience with Cypress/Selenium/Cucumber
- Ability to work both independently and alongside a team, as the situation requires
- Experience testing JavaScript/Typescript/Node applications is a plus
Education + Experience:
- 3-5 years in an Automation/Test Automation role
- Proven experience writing and maintaining tests for new and legacy services alike
