Job Description:
- Preparing statutory annual accounts, management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, charities, trusts etc
- Preparing tax computations and filing returns, including corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Planning and completing assignments to a high standard of technical competence and within deadlines
- Assisting the portfolio manager & partner to achieve deadlines
- Regularly dealing with clients in the UK to achieve efficiency through effective communication
- To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
- Maintaining technical competence
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to work on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment and work effectively to meet deadlines and time-scales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues
Desirable Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with excellent Excel spreadsheet skill
- Experience of working with companies in UK
- Experience with cloud based accounting software
Education + Experience:
- ACCA/ CA/ CPA/ MBA qualified/semi-qualified accountant with minimum 2 years’ experience in practice.
- Good knowledge of accounting systems, tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small and medium-sized business
