Job Description:

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Full-Stack engineer should have Salesforce experience and be comfortable with developing new features, understand agile, be able to support users requests, change management, governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options, their potential impact, and implementing the changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences.
  • Processing live user support tickets.
  • Product documentation as well as communication of product changes to end users and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on development utilizing coding languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL and Java, Salesforce development with Apex, Native, VisualForce, Lightning framework, SOQL, REST & SOAP APIs, and RESTful web services.
  • Enhancement request management and stakeholder expectation management.
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality (implementing rules and automation as needed).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Salesforce Hands-on experience with Partner Communities, Customer Experience Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud (required).
  • Salesforce Certified Developer 1 (required).
  • Has additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Salesforce Architect, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder (optional).
  • Has Financial Services Cloud experience (plus).
  • Has insurance industry knowledge and experience (plus).
  • Has a bachelor’s/graduate degree or professional qualification (plus).

Education + Experience:

  • Has 4+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering (required).
  • Has 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Native, VisualForce, Lightning framework, SOQL (required).
