Job Description:
- Responsible for developing customer and professional relationships
- Must have excellent written and verbal English and Nepali, including strong writing and editing skills
- Must be highly organized
- Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and teams
- Must have a positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude towards delivering results
- Must be willing to be flexible regarding working hours
- Must be aware of and able to implement best architectural practices applicable to each project
- Must be Knowledgeable of market condition and available resources
- Must be able to provide design criteria and prepare design briefs in line of clients’ needs
- Must be able to assist in Architectural design and detailing
- Must be able to lead the design team of architects, interior designer and drafts people
- Must be able to carry out feasibility studies of various design options with the Design team
- Must be able to properly present and convince clients regarding design decisions
- Must be able to ensure all designs carried out by the design team incorporates clients’/ Authority’s needs/ feedback
- Must coordinate with the Structures and MEP team to deliver the most integrated product
- Must insure the design stages are completed by the design team to the satisfaction of the client before approving progression to the next stage of design
- Must be well versed in software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp and Lumion
- Must be capable of reviewing shop drawings, specifications, cost estimations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and notify discrepancies
- Must act as a liaison between the architecture design team and other departments
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- He/She must demonstrate leadership quality
- Should have knowledge and experience in coordination and excellent design skill sets and the ability to make formal presentations
- Experience in handling contractors and knowledge of local governing building laws is a must
- He/She Should have excellent verbal and written skills in English to coordinate between different Meinhardt offices worldwide
Other Requirements: Must have valid license from Nepal Engineering Council
Education + Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s in Architecture. Candidates with Master’s in Architecture or a Master’s Degree in similar related fields will be given preference.
- 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of Architecture
