Job Description:
Responsible for performing a wide range of duties, which includes but are not limited to, managing the entire Security Department to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staffs, safeguarding their personal belongings whilst on the premises and protecting the company’s assets to ensure established position, procedures, patrols and frequencies are followed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Oversee the safety & security of departmental operations, ensuring adequate patrol patterns and frequencies are maintained for safety and security of guests and associates
- Responsible for ensuring all the fire and life safety equipment are within the expiry limits, including hand held chemical extinguishers
- Ensure prompt reporting of maintenance issues recorded by the Internal Security officers during their patrols
- Ensure random bag inspections of guests and associates entering and leaving the building or certain areas of the Casino are conducted appropriately
- Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, such that they are not removed from the casino without proper authority
- Ensure perimeter patrols at points of entry and exits are carried out correctly so that everyone within the Casino environment have a genuine purpose and are not loitering or are present for other reasons
- Conduct random inspections of the premises to ensure that safety and security practices are being followed e.g. fire exits are not blocked, equipment are not obstructing fire hose reel doors and that clearance between stacked goods and sprinkler heads is sufficient
- Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
- Communicate with guests in a manner, which promotes goodwill, trust and satisfaction
- Be familiar with Health and Safety Policy of the Company and suggest any update if realized
- Interact with department and the associates in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communication
- Enforce Security and Safety Rules and appropriate measures
- Oversee and manage Security Officers to ensure they are performing their duties as required
- Any other duties assigned by the management
Education + Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Candidate having a Master’s Degree will be preferred
- Experience : Should be less than 55 years of age and should have served at least 15+ years in Police/ Armed Police or Army with 8+ years at officer level years
