It started out as an international NGO with the headquarters in Italy on 2004 and evolved into a national NGO in 2013. 

APEIRON fights against prejudice, violence, and inequalities so that women develop skills necessary to support themselves and their families. APEIRON helps women confront uphill battles: gender based violence, restricted access to and control over resources, low literacy, struggles to obtain citizenship documents, and other social and economic challenges.

Financial, Admin and Procurement Manual

Background

APEIRON is a women led Nepali NGO working for a gender equal society through four main areas of interventions; Gender Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response, Awareness and Education, Income Generation and Institutional Collaboration. 

APEIRON fights against prejudice, violence, and inequalities so that women develop skills necessary to support themselves and their families. APEIRON helps women confront uphill battles: gender based violence, restricted access to and control over resources, low literacy, struggles to obtain citizenship documents, and other social and economic challenges. 

APEIRON recently conducted an assessment of its organizational capacity and felt a need to further strengthen its policies and streamline processes. In this context the need of a relevant, comprehensive and updated Finance, Administration and Procurement Manual was envisaged. 

Objectives

To review and update the existing Finance, Admin and Procurement manual of APEIRON and develop improved processes in line with international best practices and incorporating comments emanating from recent due diligence missions conducted by third parties. This process will ensure that APEIRON’s financial, administrative and procurement systems are clearly documented, strengthened and robust. Currently, APEIRON has the following policy documents:

  • Finance and Procurement manual
  • Human resources manual

Education + Experience

  • Senior Consultant : Charted Accountant with over 10 years of post-qualification experience in development sector.
  • Senior Consultant : Charted Accountant with over 5 years of post-qualification experience in development sector.
  • Team Member : Semi-Qualified Charted Accountant or MBA with 2 years of experience.

Apply Instruction

Interested qualified consultants/firms are invited to submit a proposal that includes the following:

  • An understanding of the requirements
  • Methodology and work plan for performing the assignment 
  • Team composition and resume of team members.
  • Detailed reference list indicating the scope and magnitude of similar assignments
  • Relevant services undertaken in the past three (3) years
  • Firm Registration Certificate, tax clearance of F.Y. 2075-76 other relevant statutory documents.
  • Technical and financial proposals will need to be submitted as separate documents. Financial proposals for non-qualifying technical proposals will not be opened
