Job Description:
Responsible for the Front Office Operation but not limited to greet guests in a professional manner and to provide them with prompt, courteous and friendly service and to be personable and approachable at all times, ensure that guests are provided with accurate information on hotel services, to provide a five-star service to guests at all times.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- To provide guests with prompt, courteous and friendly service and to be personable and approachable at all times.
- To provide guests with information about a variety of hotel services
- To deal with any maintenance issues which may arise in guest areas and to report and follow up on the work orders in a timely manner
- To handle safety deposits for guests when requested
- To handle any inquiries about credits and gratuities and to accept payments from guests to their guestroom accounts
- To handle check-in for guests and assist guests with check out information and inquiries
- Be aware of the procedures in regards to the key cards and assisting guests with issuing of lost/replacement key cards
- To deal with all guest complaints and comments in an efficient and timely manner and to provide a five-star service at all times
- Handle all foreign currency conversions for guests in accordance with foreign currency policies and procedures set by the company
- Joining the briefing before check-in time for guests with special requirements and other additional information which may be necessary for their operations
- To be cost conscious with the use of office supplies, printed materials and other consumables
- To ensure introduction of Job duties and departmental functions including continuous on-the-job-training and safe lifting techniques for the Front Office department
- To attend meetings with the Front Office department staff on regular basis
- To communicate with the Supervisor, Chief Concierge and the telephone operators on a regular basis
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor Degree- Hospitality Management from recognized University
