Job Description:
Job Time: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Review and Analyze System Requirements
- Plan, create, execute, and maintain API and Database tests
- Communicate defects to developers and other stakeholders
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and defects
- Assist in testing post-release/post-production issues
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct Demos for software tested
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of Jira, Test Care Management tools (e.g. Zephyr, QAComplete) and SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Automation experience in Selenium will be a plus
- Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested - REST and SOAP API, Postman, Swagger
- SQLServer and SQL Queries for testing purposes
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.
- Ability to represent complex ideas in a simple, easy to understand manner to a variety of audiences.
Education + Experience:
- Proven experience as Software Quality Assurance Tester or a similar role
- Minimum 2 or more years of related experience
- Bachelors degree in related field
