Job Description:
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at ITsutra, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with our development and product teams to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, test strategies, and test plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
- Implement test automation using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, JMeter, and HP LoadRunner
- Leverage TDD and BDD methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Conduct performance, stress, and load testing using JMeter and HP LoadRunner
- Test RESTful APIs using Rest Assured, Postman, and other tools
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, report, and track software defects in Jira
- Utilize TestRail, AWS, LoadRunner, XCUI, XC Test, Selenium, Cypress, Splunk, and other tools for comprehensive testing
- Develop test scripts using Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, and other programming languages
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of SQL (INNER JOIN), HashMap/HashSet, and various types of testing and their differences
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, JMeter, HP LoadRunner, Rest Assured, Postman, and Jira
- Proficient in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, and SQL
- Solid understanding of TDD, BDD, and various testing methodologies
- Experience with RESTful API testing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or in a team
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in QA automation, preferably in an Agile environment
