Job Description:
Location: CBR field-based Office at Khijidemba Rural Municipality, Okhaldhunga
“Achieving Disability Inclusive Development through Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) in Okhaldhunga, Nepal,” will be the very first CBR project working to transform Okhaldhunga into a disability-inclusive society.
The main responsibility of this job is to provide training, counselling and advocacy to individuals and groups on mental health-related issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience of working in rural areas with people with traditional attitudes and beliefs;
- Experience of working with individuals and families with a disability is preferred;
- Willingness to be based in and travel to remote areas;
- Good communication skills.
Education + Experience:
- Intermediate Level in related stream;
- At least six months training in the psychosocial counselling;
- Minimum one year of working experience in psychosocial and mental health field;
