International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and development service. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development service in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashim provinces of Nepal. 

INF Nepal, Community Programmes, Jumla is looking for qualified, skilled, service oriented and committed Nepali citizens who are qualified and interested to share our vision, missions and values by working together with communities for sustainable change. 

Position  Project Officer             

Location  Kankasundari RM, Jumla 

Purpose of the Job: 

The position holder is overall responsible for the effective and efficient implementation of project in the assigned Rural Municipality to bring about positive changes and sustainable livelihood improvements among poor, marginalised people and migrant returnees. S/he identifies the local needs and plan the work, supports and trains the staff of the Project and develops good coordination and relationship with all stakeholders to ensure a good outcome for the community through project.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good oral and written communication skills in both Nepali and English
  • Good facilitation skills with sound knowledge in the use of participatory tools and techniques
  • Sound understanding of monitoring and evaluation
  • Good knowledge of Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email)
  • Sound understanding of community development and ready to work independently/with the team in a remote setting

Education + Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Agriculture Science with minimum two-year work experience in agriculture and livelihood work
