Job Description:
The project officer will support the Kathmandu office to implement and coordinate different projects in Ramechhap. S/he will:
- Be based in Kathmandu office with 50% travel to the project region
- Lead the project field staff for maximum efficiency and performance
- Support and lead to organize project review meetings-documentation and reporting
- Build Strong communication channels and relations with various government line agencies, partner orgnaizations and staff members
- Prepare timely project progress reports
- Support in preparing monitoring and evaluation tools for different projects
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- At least 2 year’s work experience in the NGO Sector
- Proven experience in project work and management
- Good Communication and facilitation skills
- Proven experience to lead, motivate and work in a team
- Good speaking and writing skills in English and Nepali
- Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Calendars, Email etc
Education + Experience:
Minimum Bachelors degree (master’s preferred) in development studies, rural development, social work or related fields
