Job Description:
Terms & Conditions: 1 year contract based in Surkhet
- Liaise with Health officials at Municipality level, Hospitals, Urban Health Centre and Primary Health Care Centre;
- Liaise and ensure compliance with Disability Coordination Committee (DCC) in both municipalities, provincial authorities for necessary compliance and approval of studies, tested models;
- Coordinate with BRAC team and implementing partner organisation for successful implementation of Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and Livelihood (SARAL) components;
- Support and provide guidance in coordination with project manager to Vulnerable Focal Point Officer and Disability Inclusion Officer;
- Contribute to DCCs in municipalities for the effective execution of responsibilities as guided by the Disability Rights Act 2017,
- Support to assess accessibility and level of inclusive services in both health and livelihood facilities.
- Take lead in arranging and managing events, training to health officials, identifying disability inclusion facilitators in both municipalities and partner DPO;
- Support and ensure DPOs’ engagement as per the guidance provided from HI country office, Kathmandu at local level and liaise and coordinate with NFDN provincial chapter for the same;
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in SRHR preferably with disability and inclusion exposure.
- Experience of mentoring staff and local organization and transferring skills and knowledge.
- Report writing and documentation skills
- Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health rights and system in Nepal
Education + Experience:
At least Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Public Health or related field
