Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by a software Scrum team in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
- Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner for the development process.
- Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities.
- Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders.
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
- Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint.
- Managing and prioritizing product backlog items.
- Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release.
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Identifying areas of improvement.
- Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Follow our competitors and the industry
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Experiences
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner
- Experience overseeing at least 2 successfully delivered IT projects.
Education + Experience:
- 3+ years experience as product owner or project manager for IT Company .
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
