In 2003, the ActionAid International federation was established, comprising members in every region of the world, and headquartered in South Africa.
ActionAid Nepal is a member of the federation, working for human rights, anti-poverty and gender equality. It is a non-governmental national social justice organisation established in 1982 and working locally in different provinces of Nepal. It is also a part of both national and global social justice movement and other civil society networks, alliances and coalitions.
AAIN is seeking a competent, committed and result oriented candidate for the following position:
1.Programme Officer (Based at Eastern Resource Centre, Biratnagar)
Key Responsibilities:
The Programme Officer will be responsible to facilitate and support People Living in Poverty and exclusion (PLiP) centric and HRBA based programme implementation in partnership with differentproject partners and stakeholders to enhance participatory programme design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation systems.
Education + Experience:
Key Competencies required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies or relevant discipline from a recognized University. Master’s degree desirable.
- At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience
