YOUR MISSION
- Develop big data applications based on Java, Scala, and web technologies using common frameworks.
- Implement the customers' requirements and execute the development of certain (complex) tasks.
- Make Big Data “useful” (build program code, test and deploy to various environments, design, and optimize data processing algorithms for our customers).
- Support our customers and development teams in transitioning capabilities from development and testing to operations/production.
- Thoroughly document, test, and maintain solutions.
- Identify performance bottlenecks within the applications and address them accordingly.
- Develop, debug, review, and take charge of complex solutions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
YOU WILL ENJOY THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE
- Strong knowledge of microservices of all kinds
- Firmly grounded with Java, Scala, or Python
- Experience with non-functional such as security, performance, scalability etc.
- Verbal and written skills in English (a MUST), other (e.g., German, Russian, Spanish) an advantage
ALSO COOL
- Understanding knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or other container-based solutions

Education + Experience:
