People Forum for Human Right (People Forum) is a Non-governmental organization established for the protection of human rights and promotion of rule of law in Nepal. The Forum has been established by legal activists including lawyers and law scholars. People Forum is registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu and is affiliated with Social Welfare Council. The organization executive committee is comprised of professionals from various backg ... rounds considering gender, ethnic and class representation. There are 35 legal activists associated with the Forum including the members and employees of the organization. 1.1 Goal of the Organization The main goal of the organization is to ensure human rights of the Nepalese people and to strengthen of rule of law in the country. 1.2 Objectives of the Organization The objectives of the organization are: - To work for the promotion of people’s political, economic, social and cultural rights. - To provide free legal aid service to those classes of citizens who do not have access to Justice. - To initiate research on the issues of law, justice and human rights. - To file the Public Interest Litigation cases with which people have due concerns. - To work for the promotion of legal rights of minorities, women, children, dalits, persons with disability and, people from ethnic and indigenous communities. - To work for the reformation of Criminal Justice System and Penal System of Nepal. - To work for the protection and promotion of migrant workers' rights.

Brief job description:
- The Legal Aid Officer will overseae project and will be part of planning, implementation of the activities of project and provide free legal aid service to the trafficking survivor.
- Prepare required reports to project coordinator
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge and skills on pleding case in court.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in hadling case in court.
- Good documentation and communication skill
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali
- Sound knowledge in computer office packages,
- good typing skill both in Nepali and English
- Flexible and committed to teamwork

Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from recognized University.
